Holiday Tour of Homes Dec 06, 08
09:00 AM - 03:00 PM
- Fundraiser for Images: A Festival of the Arts -

Tour of Homes
The main fundraiser for Images: A Festvial of the Arts -
presented by Atlantic Center for the Arts

The IMAGES Tour of Homes kicks off the holiday season with its annual holiday Tour of Homes, presenting five unique homes in New Smyrna Beach festively decorated for the holidays, and a fantastic Boutique featuring handmade gift items in early December. Including a visit to the New Smyrna Museum of History for an "Old Fashioned" Christmas.

Featured homes will include:

The historic circa 1924 Mediterranean style Faulkner Street home of John and Shirleen Foster, decorated by New Smyrna Beach Florist

The colorful and comfortable home of artists Ed and Joyce Dowling, also on Faulkner Street, which will feature "festive flamingo" decorations put up by the owners and Ed's mother, Betty, who lives with them.

The renovated 1915 Magnolia Street home of Cindee and Al Peterson, with its lush landscaped backyard and outside bar, decorated by Mary Ann's Flowers and Gifts.

Fielding and Kathy Cooley's Magnolia Street home with its large wrap-around porches and unique two front doors, also built in 1915, decorated by Pink Flamingo at Petals.

The wonderfully eclectic renovated Turnbull Bay home of Norman and Debbie Earle on Sunset Drive, with its stunning infinity edge swimming pool.

And the New Smyrna Museum of History, which will feature tours of the several exhibits housed in the museum, including the state-of-the-art Turnbull exhibit that was developed with a $250,000 grant from the State of Florida. The museum will feature an exhibit showcasing an "old-fashioned Christmas" including old toys.

The tour will also include the popular IMAGES Boutique, which will be held at ACA's Whatmore Commons, 1414 Art Center Ave., New Smyrna Beach.

Talented artists from the Harris House League (the volunteer corps of Atlantic Center for the Arts) sell festive hand-made decorations and unique gift items and auction theme baskets. An elegant array of tea sandwiches and other refreshments will be served. IMAGES would like to thank Chef Sue Flynn and The Island Voice for being sponsors of the Tour of Homes.
