Who Loves New Smyrna Beach? American Idyls!
We have just learned that for the third consecutive year we won the Orlando Sentinel's Best Best contest in the category of Best Beach. The description "idyllic" would probably best summarize our visitors sentiments.

So, what if thousands of Americans from all 50 states were to interactively mimic these coveted community and media endorsements? What would the results be of all these fans openly professing their love for our charming, idyllic village for all of us to see? We are about to findout. Introducing the New Smyrna Beach Visitors Center's PROJECT NSB.

Everyone who forwards his or her photos is deemed an American Idyl ... By the end 2010, we hope to have 10,000 cities across America be part of New Smyrna Beach history! Show your support for our quaint, historic beach town. We have been voted Florida's Best Beach and everyone who visits here LOVES our area - this is an opportunity to represent your city while supporting New Smyrna Beach!
