Romantic Beach Weddings in New Smyrna Beach!
Kick off your shoes, don a white gown, or marry hanging ten on a surfboard. The choices are diverse and limited only by your imagination. The natural beauty of the sand and surf act as a backdrop to your special day and promise a lifetime of fond memories.

New Smyrna Beach is "wedding friendly". No special permits or licensing are required for parties of 50 or less, however, a courtesy phone call to the beach patrol is advised.

If a beach wedding is not in your plans, call to hear about other memorable locations both indoors and out. Those seeking more traditional nuptials can marry in a variety of churches or chapels representing every denomination. In Florida, both religious leaders and notaries can officiate at weddings.

A Beautiful Setting for a Beautiful Day!
Capture the magic of your special day in beautiful New Smyrna Beach. Whether you plan an intimate wedding with a few close friends or nuptials with fewer than 50 guests, the area has much to offer. A wedding in New Smyrna Beach proves the adage that good things do come in small packages.

Getting a license:
Licenses in Florida are regulated by the State, but are issued by the County Clerk's office. There are Volusia County Clerk's offices in Daytona Beach and Deland. Most offices are open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and no
appointment is necessary. The cost is $93.50 with the completion of an approved marriage preparation course. For Florida residents, there is an additional three day wait for couples who do not wish to complete the course.

Applicants will need their social security number and a valid drivers license or picture ID. Non US citizens may use a passport for identification. Both the bride and groom must be present at the time of application.

If you or your spouse-to-be has been previously wed, you must provide a copy of the divorce papers indicating the date the marriage ended. Marriage licenses can be used statewide.

After the Wedding
Of course planning the honeymoon is one of the most important aspects of wedding planning and New Smyrna Beach offers everything from quaint Bed & Breakfast Inns to luxurious oceanfront condos.

Spend a day frolicking at the beach. Shop on historic Flagler Avenue or Canal Street. Browse through one of our many art galleries. Indulge in a couple's only spa treatment. Enjoy intimate dining at one of our many family-owned restaurants or share an ice cream soda at an old-fashioned soda fountain.

Take a historic boat ride or sunset cruise down the Indian River and discover why it is the most biologically diverse estuary in North America. Cross the inlet to get an up close and personal view of the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, then climb the stairs to the top for spectacular views of New Smyrna Beach.
