Marine Science Center

Great for all visitors but especially for families with children, the Marine Science Center located in Ponce Inlet, Florida is a place of education and inspiration. Despite the whole facility not being overly big, there are many sections for visitors to check out including the bird boardwalk, the touch pool, and the nature trail.
How much does it cost to visit the Marine Science Center?
The admission rate for the Marine Science Center is $7 for seniors, $8 for adults over the age of 13, and $5 for children between the age of 3 and 12. The Marine Science Center is open Tuesday to Sunday. Please visit the center’s website for the latest admission price and hours.
What sea animals can you touch in the touch pool?
The 13 feet-long touch pool features a number of sea animals including cownose rays, Atlantic stingrays, sea urchins, and giant Caribbean hermit crabs. Make sure you visit during the stingray feeding times for an even more interactive experience.
How much time do visitors typically spend in the Marine Science Center?
It’s not a big facility so don’t expect a full-day excursion when you visit. Most visitors will spend no more than one or two hours at the Marine Science Center. There’s the Ponce Inlet Historical Museum and Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse nearby if you are looking for additional things to do.
